When Lent begins on February 22, we will be focusing especially on Jesus’ suffering and death which paid for our sins and assured us of God’s forgiveness. This time of meditation is an excellent opportunity to review the whole of Jesus’ work on our behalf.
This document gives a reading plan to read through all four Gospels during the season of Lent (excluding the Sundays), ending with the resurrection accounts on the Saturday before Easter (Holy Saturday). It will be a great blessing to be able to review our Savior’s work for us during the coming weeks.
This reading plan will have some repetition as the Gospels overlap in Jesus’ work and teaching. If you would prefer a more streamlined approach to reviewing Jesus’ work, you could make use of a “harmony” of the Gospels that blends the four accounts together into a unified narrative. Some options are listed below.
I pray that your time through our Savior’s ministry during Lent will be a blessing to you this year.
