On Sunday, October 2, beginning at 10:30am, Gloria Dei will hold our annual church picnic. This event includes a casual, outdoor worship service and bring-your-own lunch together in the pavilion after the worship service concludes.
As we have done for a couple of years, the picnic will be held at Twin Pines Park in Belmont (1 Twin Pines Ln, Belmont, CA 94002). We have the back Redwood Picnic Area reserved for the day. Parking is limited in the area and shared with others who will be attending the park for recreation that day, so plan to come early if you want or need a close parking spot!
Grilled hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided by the church. Please bring a side to share with others.
Please note the following changes from our normal Sunday routine:
Because of the picnic, we will NOT have Sunday School, Adult Bible Class, or Catechism Class. [Sunday School and Catechism will resume on October 9; Adult Bible Class will resume on October 16].
Because of our outdoor setting away from campus, there will NOT be any Live Stream of the service. We pray the outdoor setting will allow for most of our congregation to gather together for the service, but if you need help finding a different WELS church’s live stream worship for the day, please let Pastor know.
