Welcome to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and School
Gloria Dei is located about half an hour south of San Francisco. Our congregation is a welcoming family for people of all ages and in every stage of life. Our mission to proclaim the forgiving love of Jesus, who set us free from sin by his death and resurrection in our place. If you're new to the area or an estalbished resident looking for a church home, we offer ours to you. Here you will find a warm, friendly environment where you will never be lost in the crowd.
This year, Gloria Dei is thankful to celebrate 50 years of God's Grace. We have been privileged to the serve the San Francisco Bay Area with God's Word since 1963. We hope that you will come and join our celebration this year!
Gloria Dei operates a full-time elementary school, serving children enrolled in 4-year-old Kindergarten through 5th Grade. We have Sunday School for children of all ages each Sunday Morning, and Bible Classes for adults. We put on a free Bible Camp for one week each summer in June. Feel free to browse our offerings, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Our name is a Latin phrase the means "God's Glory." We pray that here you will not only find his glory, but your family as well!
